This piece is called Night and Day. It is inspired by winter sunlight. This piece was accepted in the International South Shore Artists Collaborative show and was awarded the Jurors Choice Award for the strength and quality of the work. The juried show was titled “Works on Paper” and juried by Andrew Witkin of Witkin, Krakow Gallery.

About Juried art shows: a juried art show is one at which accomplished artists determine which piece is accepted into a show. The judges are museum curators and gallery owners selected by the sponsoring organization to determine if the piece is worthy of showing. The jury process is intended to raise the quality of the show and therefore attract patrons.
